Gordon Hering, Ph.D.

Gordon (Gordy) Hering joined Sensient in September 1994 and was promoted to Vice President - Marketing & Technology in April 2007. Most recently he was Director of Basic Research for the Flavors & Fragrances Group.

Dr. Hering completed his post-doctoral training at Oxford University in Microbiology and also received a fellowship from the American Cancer Society. At Oxford University, he worked with the Chairman of the Microbiology Unit, Paul Nurse, who shared the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 2001.

Dr. Hering holds a Ph.D. in Pathology from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and a B.A in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology and Biochemistry from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
